Legendary equipment and twelve slots

Clad in Legend prints the slot count in the achievement itself: Legendary or better gear in all 12 equipment slots. That is the only first-party slot total. First Legend is the earlier step, equipping a single Legendary piece, already common at 78.6%. You can chase map bosses for legendaries while the cart hauls bases; the slot check is on the character sheet, not on the ground. Filling twelve slots is slower than the first legendary by a wide margin: 78.6% versus 0.8% on the live board.

Steam screenshots show dense item names and colored loot beams over dark ground. Green and orange labels are in those shots. Item tooltips are not rebuilt here. If a drop is Ancient Legendary, the 0.1.12 note is the rule: max item level and max stat rolls, not a separate slot type. Keep filling the other eleven sockets after that first Ancient piece lands on your sheet.

Runebound — Equip your first Rune — is the rune on-ramp at 1.2% global completion. Closed-beta notes also listed gems, sockets, and rune sets, but the live seal is the first equipped rune. Forged to Perfection is to upgrade any piece to +10; patch 0.1.13 capped upgrades at that number, so +10 is the published ceiling, not a rumor. Ancient Legendary max rolls from 0.1.12 can occupy a slot toward Clad in Legend, but they are still one of the twelve, not a skip.

Ancient Legendary items arrived in 0.1.12 with new legendaries, a minion, and Life Skills content in the same notes. They are the max-roll chase, not a replacement for filling 12 ordinary Legendary slots. If you are still missing Clad in Legend, a single Ancient piece does not finish the 12-slot seal by itself. Smithing to +10 is a separate seal and can wait until the piece you upgrade is worth the cap.

Deskrawl: Idle ARPG - Supporter Pack is Steam app 5216710 at $1.99. It adds a storage page, a legendary wing, and a legendary armored horse usable on single-player and online characters. Those cosmetics are exclusive to the pack; they are not a fifth class or a 13th slot. They also do not complete Clad in Legend by themselves unless the wing or horse actually occupies one of the twelve equipment sockets — Steam never says they do, so treat them as cosmetics until the character sheet shows otherwise.

Buy the pack if you want the extra storage page and the two legendary cosmetics. It does not change Inferno rules or achievement text. Keep it off your loot plan if you only need the 12-slot Clad in Legend check. Storage page space is the practical reason to spend $1.99 if your cart and bags fill during unattended Kings Woods South or Tazan runs.

Practical order from the board percents: First Legend at 78.6% while you still live in Kings Woods, then keep filling slots toward Clad in Legend at 0.8% as Tazan and Veldak open. Slot Runebound when the first rune actually drops rather than camping a vendor. Push a single piece to +10 for Forged to Perfection after 0.1.13’s cap, not before you have a legendary worth the smithing spend. Ancient Legendary max rolls from 0.1.12 are replacements for weak legendaries, not a skip past the twelve-slot check.

Life Skills auto-sell from Desktop idle is what keeps junk from drowning those legendaries on the ground. Minions haul; smithing waits in town. If you idle a finished node hoping Ancient Legendary will appear, you are ignoring the named-ground hunts that actually print new bosses. Use Maps to move the strip, then come back here when a drop is legendary, ancient, a rune, or a +10 candidate. Supporter Pack storage is the only extra bag Steam sells; it is not a loot filter.

Official store shots show orange loot beams, gold damage numbers, and dense item names over dark ground. Green and orange labels appear together in at least one woodland shot. Those colors are in the screenshot; they are not a rarity table. The Steam page background art is the loot page’s exclusive image because it is store key art, not a fabricated item grid. Use the four gear seals as the checklist, then look at the screenshot only as proof that drops actually pile in the strip.

Do not read a fake tooltip into those beams. First Legend, Clad in Legend, Runebound, and Forged to Perfection remain the four gear seals. Ancient Legendary is a patch 0.1.12 item class with max rolls. If a beam is legendary, check a slot. If a beam is a rune, check Runebound. If you are already at +9, the next smithing click is the +10 seal. Everything else is still a named-ground travel problem from the Maps ledger.
