Compare Warrior, Sorcerer, Hunter, and Monk.
Launch Steam achievements name four Inferno pinnacle classes: Warrior, Sorcerer, Hunter, and Monk. Each Pinnacle seal is “Beat Inferno difficulty as” that class. The June 2026 Next Fest demo handed players the Warrior around the City of Aldenreach. Closed-beta notes advertised Mage and Monk; the live board uses Sorcerer rather than Mage. Steam does not publish skill trees, real names, or portraits for these four, so the comparison below is availability plus the pinnacle seals.
Pinnacle: Warrior, Pinnacle: Sorcerer, Pinnacle: Hunter, and Pinnacle: Monk are live Steam achievements. Each asks you to beat Inferno as that class. Inferno is a named difficulty, not a fan label. Global completion on all four seals sits at 0.1% on the captured board, so they are late-run targets rather than tutorial checks. The compare chips above keep all four rows visible; deselect a class only if you are ignoring that reroll for now.
Use the compare row to keep all four visible or drop the ones you are not rolling. The fields are demo availability, the exact pinnacle sentence, and the beta note. There is no official damage table to add as extra columns. Warrior is the only demo-playable class; Sorcerer carries the Mage naming split; Hunter is launch-board-only versus the July list; Monk is named on 19 August. That is the entire first-party class dossier.
The June 2026 demo advertised Warrior play around Aldenreach, originally up to level 20. That is the only class with first-party demo availability text. Hunter is not named in the July beta content list and appears on the launch board. Monk is named as a new class in the 19 August closed-beta announcement. Closed beta also advertised a Desert biome, max level 35, gems and sockets, runes, Black Mist legendaries, and a new final boss — class names in that post are Mage and Monk, not the later four-wide pinnacle set. None of those beta extras reprint as extra class rows on the launch board.
Closed-beta copy named a new Mage class. Launch achievements print Sorcerer. Both words stay in the record and are not merged. If a guide still says Mage, map it to the Sorcerer pinnacle seal unless First Day Games reprints Mage on Steam. Warrior is the safe first Online character if you already learned Aldenreach in the demo; the other three are rerolls you take once Inferno is the actual goal rather than the woods hunts.
Every pinnacle sentence is “Beat Inferno difficulty as” Warrior, Sorcerer, Hunter, or Monk. Inferno is therefore a difficulty flag shared across classes, not a hidden fifth kit. Global completion on all four seals is 0.1% on the captured board, in the same band as Into the Endless Realm and Forged to Perfection. Do not treat a Kings Woods clear as progress toward those seals. Peak of Power at level 70 is a different axis; you can hit 70 on Warrior and still lack Pinnacle: Warrior if Inferno is unfinished.
Peak of Power is a separate level-70 progress seal, not a class pick. Jack of All Trades is Life Skills, not a hero tree. If you came here looking for skill names, Steam still has not published them. Compare the four rows above, pick the pinnacle you will actually farm, and use Maps for the ground that sits in front of your next slay rather than inventing a rotation. Online Mode default from the launch hotfix applies to whatever class you create next; it is not class-specific.
