Raptor in the Aldenreach woods
The raptor is an opener, not a late-game flex. Kings Woods hosts exactly two slay seals, and this one is the bird. A parked desktop strip still has to be travelling that woodland before the idle loop can finish the kill. 92.2% means almost every Steam account that boots the game pops Forest Raptor during ordinary first hours, while Tazan and Veldak hunts sit in the single digits. The Maps ledger labels Kings Woods as starting woodland around Aldenreach with two linked seals.

Icon ach-forest-raptor leads the community page. Rank 1 sits immediately before Take the Reins at 88.4% and two rows before Bloodmoon Falls at 84.4%. Sorting by completion keeps this raptor at the top; sorting by region groups it with the werewolf. Neither sort invents a third Kings Woods boss. Read the Valve sentence as the whole published rule: the bird, that forest, no extra spend.
A parked Windows strip still needs Kings Woods loaded before the raptor dies. Demo players who learned Aldenreach in June 2026 will see this bird first because that city sits on the same woodland. Do not wait for Inferno, Tazan, or a Rein spend. 92.2% is Valve’s own board number, not a drop table. After the kill, Take the Reins is the next official row if you want a hauler.
